Every 27th September, the tourism industry gathers to commemorate the World Tourism Day. This year’s global celebrations will be held in the Georgian capital of Tblisi under the theme “Tourism and peace.”
Women in hospitality founder, Ann Kalembe will be a keynote speaker at this prestigious event, she will be part of a panel of industry experts who’ll delve into key areas of “Harnessing Innovation and Cultivating Talent for Peace.” Within the industry.
The annual world tourism day celebration is held by United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and it brings together global leaders; Ministers of tourism, international organization representatives, and field specialists to share insights, best practices, innovative solutions and this year they’ll discuss the pivotal role of tourism in promoting peace.
